Design and Development Internship

Design Internship

We’re looking for a Design & Development Intern to join our creative team. You’ll work closely with our Creative Product Developer to support the development of innovative upcycled designs from sample to production. If you’re hands-on, solution-oriented, and excited by circular fashion, this is your chance to gain real-world experience in a visionary fashion studio.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating and updating tech packs, BOMs, and sample instructions.
  • Assist with technical drawings and sketches.
  • Support fittings, taking notes and suggesting design adjustments.
  • Assist in the research and development of upcoming collections, including sourcing materials, trims, and references.
  • Support in the preparation and maintenance of the studio space, sample archive, and materials library.
  • Help with toiling, sample organisation, and general hands-on development work.
  • Assist in the creation of any styling pieces needed for campaigns, lookbooks, events, or photoshoots.
  • Support with ad-hoc creative design and production needs such as crafting or assembling special gifts for VIPs, wholesale clients, or collaborators.
  • Contribute creative ideas during design meetings and brainstorms. You will be invited to contribute not only to upcoming collections but also to special projects, collaborations, and custom or one-off design requests.
  • Support the team with administrative and organisational tasks as needed.

What we offer:

As an intern at 1/OFF, you’ll gain hands-on experience inside a pioneering circular fashion brand, working closely with our Creative Product Developer and a passionate, purpose-driven team. You'll have the opportunity to contribute ideas, grow your portfolio, and gain insight into every step of the product development process. Based in our Amsterdam studio, this internship offers a creative and collaborative environment, along with a monthly internship allowance.
