Design Internship
1/OFF is looking for an intern as a Design assistant. We would like to welcome a student that is based in Amsterdam or surrounding, who is currently studying a course related to this field. Your tasks will include co-creating the new collection, coming up with ideas for events such as pop-ups, fashion week, Buyer’s gifting and more. You are dynamic and proactive with a creative vision of high fashion and thrive to actively participate in the growth of a young fashion label.
Responsibilities:
➔ Assist in the upkeep of pieces and production.
➔ Co-create the upcoming collection by creating: sketches, moodboards, and help with pre-sampling.
➔ Research for inspiration, trends, concepts and new projects.
➔ Help come up with ideas for showrooms, Fashion Week activities, pop-up stores, and PR gifting for 1/OFF events.
➔ Assist in creating tech packs and technical drawings for new pieces.
➔ Style and pair vintage pieces prior to their production.

Qualifications
- Graduated or currently studying Fashion Design or a related course.
- Master of relevant tools in Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and premiere pro
- Master of tools in pattern making, tailoring and sewing
- Flexible attitude and able to work independently.
- Strong interest and knowledge about the fashion industry
- Fluent in English
Starting August 2024, with a minimum of 5 months.
